Duration: 1 Hour

Accenture Plant Performance Solution (APPS) is an integrated set of applications and processes, which help power generation companies address a variety of challenges by helping them to establish a critical asset information and collaboration hub. By improving access to critical asset information through a single sign-on and providing that information in a role based manner, allowing drill down into the asset hierarchy and linking SME’s to the critical assets, APPS is helping provide the right information to the right people at the right time to help them make quicker, better informed decisions. In this way, APPS is helping companies to reduce their reactive maintenance percentage and lower maintenance costs while responding to challenges such as aging assets and workforce. APPS is built on the Microsoft technology platform which helps companies get a better return on their existing IT investment by reducing training time and implementation risk and improving access to information to non-traditional users.
Attendees of this Webcast will hear how APPS can be used to implement a proactive maintenance program to improve plant equipment performance and provide real-time process driven information and advanced analytics to decision-makers. Customer GenOn Energy will be highlighted as a real world APPS industry best practice.
